Olea europaea 'Rakino'
Rakino's our preferred garden choice providing both ornamental and fruiting benefits. It's a shapely, small, open, tree suitable for both inland and coastal situations. A prolific summer fruiter, its flavoursome fruit is ideal for preserving. Try mixing with other handsome evergreen fruiting plants such as Meyer lemon and Feijoa.

Uses: Home orchards, specimen plantings, avenues, hedging, shelter and larger patio tubs.
Position: Thrives in sunny and dry conditions; well-drained soils are ideal. A renowned drought beater.
Care: Clip to shape as desired, otherwise little needed.
