Hemerocallis 'Golden Zebra'
This dwarf daylily will stop you in your tracks. Summer brings clear golden-yellow clusters of flowers on short stems and beautiful variegated foliage. Foliage colour depends on light conditions. Striking green and white striped leaves are produced under shade conditions; green and yellow when grown in the sun.
Feature:

Individual flowers last just one day, but oodles are produced in succession over many months.

Uses: Plant in mass for vivid displays, in containers for excellent contrast, or in mixed perennial borders. Ideal rockery plant.
Position: Full sun to part shade, freely-drained soil. Handles dry spells. Deciduous with foliage dying back over winter to regenerate late spring.
Care: Little needed, removing spent flowers prolongs flower generation. Water will during first year to establsih deep roots.
