Cosmos Hot Chocolate
Cosmos astrosanguineus 'Hot Chocolate'
An enchanting perennial with 3cm velvet flowers having both the colour and scent of dark-chocolate from late-spring to autumn. A scent that's strongest in the evening, just enough to tempt you to a little post-dinner indulgence! Tuber-forming member of the dahlia family whose foliage dies back over winter.
Feature:

Chocolate-coloured and scented flowers.

Uses: Garden, patio planters and borders.
Position: Warm and sunny. Will benefit from a little shelter to encourage early season growth.
Care: Avoid drying out, remove spent blooms to encourage new flowers. In very cold districts you can lift and store tubes over winter as you would a dahlia. Apply a light dressing of general fertiliser late spring.
