Daphne Leucanthe
Daphne odora 'Leucanthe'
Upright strong growing form with large flower heads. Blooms over a long period from late winter into spring. Sweetly scented and good for cut flowers. Plant in sun or light shade, very hardy. Acid lover, don't use lime. Evergreen 1m x 1m. Hardiness Zone - suits dark green area - click for details
Daphne Rubra
Daphne odora 'Rubra'
Daphne flowers possess a magical perfume, miles better than anything that comes in a bottle. Enjoy the scent to the full: plant near a path or doorway, or a window which is often left open. The flowers, produced for a long time in late winter and early spring, can be picked and brought indoors, but be sure to cut them with green stems - cutting back into old wood is not good for the bush. Dichroa Blue Sapphires
Dichroa versicolor 'Blue Sapphires'
This previously little known plant made a bold entrance into the new millennium. And rightly so! A native of north Burma, it’s a bold shrub with large hydrangea-like leaves, glossy and dark green. From late-spring large heads of pale blue flower buds progressively open to rich-denim-blue starry flowers. Truly impressive. Hardiness Zone - suits dark green area - click for details
