One of the most impressive plants we've seen. Its glossy green leaves have velvet bronze undersides and provide a unique look year round. In summer large fragrant creamy white flowers impress. A mid-size columnar tree that's at home in a large patio planter when young, and as a grand garden specimen.

Wonderful courtyard tree, garden and lawn feature, avenue plant and container specimen. Trim lower leaves to make a great shade tree.
Position:
Prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil & full sun.
Care:
Little needed, apply a light dressing of general fertiliser in autumn. May be trimmed to shape, and pruned heavily if it gets wayward.
