Michelia 'Fiona'
Sweetly scented, beautiful white flowers opening from velvety buds and deep green, glossy, small foliage make this tall shrub one to cherish. The flowers open in early spring, last for many weeks and cover the bush from top to toe. Even when not in flower 'Fiona' is one of the best evergreen foliage shrubs you can find.
Feature:

Fragrant flowers in spring, sensuous foliage year round.
Uses: Easy choice for mixed shrub border, smaller specimen tree, fragrant hedge, or in a container for several years. Position where fragrance can be savoured.
Position: Any reasonable soil, sun - or just a little shade, and shelter from sea winds.
Care: Little needed, in poorer soils though, a mulch and fertilise in autumn will be beneficial.
