Syzygium Tom Thumb
Syzygium 'Tom Thumb'
A topiary delight - a compact, dwarf selection with fine leaves and an upright, columnar and dense habit. Glossy, red and green leaves on a bush that lends itself to shaping and clipping - columns, balls, triangles; its versatility limited only by the imagination. Summer flowers and berries feature on untrimmed plants.
Feature:

Specimen, topiary and garden delight.

Uses: Excellent dwarf specimen tree, topiary subject or low hedge or screen. Fully at home in patio or terrace tub.
Position: Partial to full sun and a well-drained soil. Will need shelter from all but the lightest of frost in cooler areas of Zone 9.
Care: Trim and shape as you desire, or not, as the case might be. A light feed in autumn will ensure continued vigour.
