Anigozanthus Royal Cheer
Anigozanthus 'Royal Cheer'
Royal Cheer's something different in Kangaroo Paws. It forms a glaucous-grey-green clump which is tidy and compact. From spring, tall flower stems grow from the base and are topped with striking large red-green flowers. These exquisite flower heads are a wonderful cutflower and look great in the garden too.
Feature:

Feature grey-green foliage and showy flowers

Uses: Great for borders, patio pots and indoor floral work.
Position: Plant in a well-aired and sunny position and a coarse and well-drained soil - they do not like wet feet!
Care: Remove spent flower heads to prolong flowering. An annual tidy and a light dressing of low-phosphorus slow-release fertiliser in autumn is beneficial.
