This Federation daisy has flowers which are a bit different - predominantly dark pink but with a ‘frosting’ of yellow. The proportions of yellow and pink vary according to the age of the flowers, which means there is a subtle and delightful variation in flower colours on each bush. As with all these marguerites, there are numerous ways of using them. A group on a sunny bank, at the front door, among pink or white roses or to brighten up evergreen shrubs, are just some of the possibilities.

How about one or two beside the letterbox - there’s an idea to brighten up the street and create a talking point among passers-by. As with all the marguerite daisies, they adapt well to all sorts of situations, including coastal gardens, providing they have lots of sun. Oh, there’s something more - the flowers are good for picking and displaying in a simple, small vase or a little jug.
