You don’t have to worry about frosts affecting this little charmer - it’s cold hardy and by late winter is already sending up lots of the beautiful little pink flowers which continue in spring. It’s the sort of small plant which brightens up a rock garden or makes a lively addition to other small plants at the edge of a path. Saxifraga ‘Starblush’ is also delightful in a pot and when grown this way can be positioned on an outdoor table or placed on steps or a deck.
