Sedum Purple Emperor
Sedum 'Purple Emperor'

The sort of foliage that makes you go ‘Whoa, look at that!’ Imagine it with Cosmos ‘Hot Chocolate’ and one of the low growing, groundcovering sedums with similar coloured foliage such as Sedum ‘Bertram Anderson’. Dwarf daylilies with deep plum foliage or dark wine coloured, small flowered, low growing single dahlias such as ‘Wine Country’ could also be exciting companions for ‘Purple Emperor’. Other exciting ideas include using it with dwarf, purple bronze barberries and deep bronze and wine coloured heucheras. Deep red and orange colours suit it well too, as do bronze foliage grasses.
