Bacopa ‘Blue Showers’ is a beautiful groundcover plant which is also ideal for tumbling over the edge of pots and hanging baskets. The growths will cascade quite a distance, creating a spectacular effect. The flowers aren’t just pretty, they’re also produced in vast numbers, non-stop from spring to late autumn, and often continuing through the winter as well in mild climates.
It’s a great plant to use as a cover between bushy perennials and dwarf shrubs. Try it with Gazania Sunset Jane’s terracotta daisy flowers for a bold contrast of colour, with the sky blue of Felicia ‘Golden Sapphire’, or the inky blue of the new, large flowered, low growing heliotropes such as ‘Baby Marine’.
