These quality hellebores, with bigger, brighter and prettier flowers than the ones our grandparents grew but with the same toughness and adaptability, brighten up the chilly days of winter and early spring.
These very useful perennials are evergreen shade lovers and will grow happily beneath deciduous trees and among shrubs. In cold climate areas, mingle them with snowdrops beneath silver birches for a romantic, English garden, woodland feel. Where winters arent quite so harsh, plant them among sweet scented daphnes and low growing ferns or underneath Magnolias and Michelias. Use them in borders of shade loving perennials to provide winter interest and in the shady gaps between camellias. An intriguing combination can be created by grouping Thoroughbred Choice hellebores, Tiarella Pink Skyrocket and Tiarella Crow Feather.
