Hebe laingii

Small growing whipcord variety with branches that tend to grow outward at first then upward, to a height of 15-20cm. Much branched, with green stems becoming brown. The leaves are very small & ovate. Short spikes, eight-flowered, white flowers during summer.

Hebe 'Mount Cook'

For tubs containers or as a low hedge this tough pale green hebe is a winner. It's a compact grower from the Mt Cook region, which means it's as "tough as". It's leaf structure resembles a conifer, but this one has pale blue flowers in spring. Hardy to all parts of the country. Grows 1 x 1 metre.

Eye-catching royal purple flowers with a bright magenta-red eye make Ohau hard to walk past when it's in full glory during late spring and into summer. Its foliage is attractive too - green leaves tipped purple on a compact plant. Great plant for new gardens; they grow rapidly and provide shelter for other plants.

Hebe Red Edge

Hebe albicans 'Red Edge'

A splendid, dense, mounding shrub with year-round interest. It has tiny grey-green leaves that sport a striking red margin that's so intense that come spring, the leaves take on a pink hue. From summer to autumn pink flower buds open lilac and fade to white.
