Adenandra uniflora
Adenandra uniflora
A small evergreen shrub that's a picture from late-winter through to summer - covered in pretty five-petalled white flowers with a touch of shell pink. It has a low, compact mounded habit, great for up close to the house, paths and patio where it can be admired by all.
Feature:

Irresistable, long flower season, evergreen.

Uses: Rockeries, banks and shrub borders. Try it in a well-drained patio pot for a year or two.
Position: Hails from coastal cliffs in South Africa, so it's built to handle dry, windy and coastal conditions. Full sun, good drainage and shelter from harsh frost are best.
Care: Mulch with peat and prune to tidy after flowering.
