Eriostemon Bournda Beauty
Eriostemon myoporoides 'Bournda Beauty'
A free-flowering evergreen shrub with a compact and tidy habit built in. Early in spring tiny buds form, colouring to red prior to opening to a myriad of white star-shaped flowers. An excellent border choice that lends itself to floral use - flowers last well in a vase and crushed foliage has a distinctive fresh fragrance.
Feature:

Myriads of starry white flowers as spring warms.

Uses: Best in a patio tub or borders where its springtime brilliance can be enjoyed.
Position: Full sun, a warm open position and freely-drained soils. Will need shelter from all but light frost in colder parts of Zone 9.
Care: Clip to shape after flowering. Prefers poor and slightly acidic soils; go easy on fertiliser and don't use lime. A yellow foliage hue indicates trace element deficiency - consult your garden centre.
