Gardeners are realising how useful dwarf shrubs can be - they look after themselves and remain attractive for years. They’re good for low stress gardens. Eriostemon ‘Bournda Beauty’ is such a shrub, growing dense and compact to a height of about 75 centimetres. It’s ideal for a sunny border in good, well drained soil. The strongly scented foliage is attractive year round, and from autumn to spring the pale red flower buds are quite a feature, finally bursting into star shaped white flowers in early spring.
