Escallonia Red Knight
Escallonia hybrid 'Red Knight'
A compact shrub growing to form a large mound that is covered with small red flowers in summer. Good as a low hedge which may be clipped to the desired height. Hardy and easy to grow; suits sun or part shade, indifferent to soil conditions and tolerant of coastal conditions. Left unclipped it forms a rounded bush to about 1 metre tall.
