Leucadendron Jack Harre
Leucadendron 'Jack Harre'
A compact leucadendron with flaming-red star-like flowers atop arm-length bracts from early in winter. A rapid grower suitable for any size garden and forming a nicely rounded evergreen shrub. Salignum varieties are favourite leucadendrons, providing vivid garden displays and colourful cut-flowers for indoor use. Plant in a sunny and well-drained spot, applying plenty of peat and acid fertiliser.
A small-growing form that has masses of yellow flushed red flower bracts in mid-winter. A popular shrub & excellent cut flower. Needs an annual trim. Has a dense growth habit. Sun. Wind & coastal tolerant. Well-drained soil. Evergreen. Grows 1.5m tall, 1m wide.
Showy in the garden and great indoors as a cut flower. A New Zealand cultivar and one that sets the standard for growing vigour, flower colour and floral performance. Bracts are a wine red in autumn and take on a pinkish cream flush towards spring.
This delightful little compact plant has silvery leaves and large striking white flowers with prominent yellow centres. They appear continuously from early in spring, right through summer and well into autumn - at least nine months of the year.
This low growing, ground covering plant has been a favourite with many generations of gardeners - hardly surprising for its flowers are about the most beautiful shade of sky blue imaginable. The flowers open in spring and continue for many weeks - a delightful rockery plant.
A great garden plant to provide year round interest with rich burgundy leaves and bright pink and tasseled flowers late in winter and through spring. As the leaves mature they take on an olive-bronze hue and have a rough leathery texture, providing year round landscape appeal.
One of the most impressive plants we've seen. Its glossy green leaves have velvet bronze undersides and provide a unique look year round. In summer large fragrant creamy white flowers impress. A mid-size columnar tree that's at home in a large patio planter when young, and as a grand garden specimen.
Summer Lustre's another standard-setter from NuFlora's Federation Daisy breeding programme. It's got instant appeal with a standout profusion of flower from early in spring. Summer Lustre will grow to around 60cm tall, spread to 70cm and bears gorgeous single bright-white flowers from early in spring to early in summer with a further flush of flowers in autumn. When in full flower, you'll see little leaf.
Sugar Cheer's one of the finest Federation Daisies. It has fully double deep-rose-pink flowers when new, fading to softer hues. Likes a sunny well-drained spot and a light clip mid-season for a second flowering. Protect from all but light frost. Grows 50x75cm.
Summit Pink has gorgeous single pink flowers with a pronounced yellow centre. Main flowering times are spring and autumn with the occasional flush at other times of the year. Plant in a sunny spot with good drainage. Protect from harsh frosts. Grows 50x60cm.
