An outstanding foliage plant with lime-green-yellow leaves, generously patched in deep-forest-green. In summer, yellow colouration dominates, while deep-green patches are most prominent in cooler or shaded conditions. Almost an afterthought, pale blue flowers appear in spring to supplement the stunning foliage display.

'Breath of Heaven' very quickly forms a tidy bush with highly fragrant foliage all year round. From spring and into summer it's smothered in tiny white flowers. Aromatic and compact. Good in borders, pathways and patios.
Golden Spirit is a unique new 'Smoke Bush' from Europe, and one with a difference; brilliant lime to golden-yellow foliage from late in spring. As autumn progresses this fresh foliage hue is replaced by vivid coral, orange and red tones. Later in summer it's topped with usual plumes of smoke-like flowers.
Daphne flowers possess a magical perfume, miles better than anything that comes in a bottle. Enjoy the scent to the full: plant near a path or doorway, or a window which is often left open. The flowers, produced for a long time in late winter and early spring, can be picked and brought indoors, but be sure to cut them with green stems - cutting back into old wood is not good for the bush.
Upright strong growing form with large flower heads. Blooms over a long period from late winter into spring. Sweetly scented and good for cut flowers. Plant in sun or light shade, very hardy. Acid lover, don't use lime. Evergreen 1m x 1m.

This previously little known plant made a bold entrance into the new millennium. And rightly so! A native of north Burma, it’s a bold shrub with large hydrangea-like leaves, glossy and dark green. From late-spring large heads of pale blue flower buds progressively open to rich-denim-blue starry flowers. Truly impressive.
