Superb cream-yellow edged finely divided evergreen foliage topped by erect stems of violet blue flowers from mid summer. Prefers full to part shade & cool, well-drained soil, which does not dry out. Trim back hard after flowering to encourage colourful new foliage. Grows 45x45cm.
A low growing perennial producing spikes of vibrant true-blue flowers that will captivate anyone looking their way. Flowering begins during late spring continuing through summer. Forms a tidy mound with interesting metallic-grey-green-bronze foliage.
Robust dwarf form with flower stems a little more than 60cm and strong enough to easily stand under their own strength in all but the roughest of conditions. The 8cm flowers and strong wiry stems are excellent for cutting and last a long time in the vase.
